Free checked baggage allowance on Air China-operated international/regional routes

The piece concept applies to checked baggage allowance on all Air China-operated domestic routes.

1. Americas routes (except Hawaii), Japan routes (including those to Japan via Mainland China (except Hong Kong/Macau/Taiwan) operated by Air China for the whole journey), and routes with transit to Americas/Japan from a third country/Hong Kong/Macau/Taiwan via Mainland China (except Hong Kong/Macau/Taiwan)

First Class/Business Class 

Each First Class /Business Class passenger with adult fare ticket or child fare ticket is allowed up to two pieces of checked baggage free of charge, with each weighing no more than 32kg (70 lbs) and measuring no more than 158cm (62 in.) in total linear dimensions.

Economy Class 

Each Economy Class passenger with adult fare ticket or child fare ticket is allowed up to two pieces of checked baggage free of charge, with each weighing no more than 23kg (50 lbs) and measuring no more than 158cm (62 in.) in total linear dimensions.
Each passenger with infant ticket is allowed up to one piece of checked baggage free of charge, but the total linear dimensions of the baggage shall not exceed 115cm (45 in.). In addition, a foldable baby stroller or bassinet can be checked free of charge.

2. Routes between Hawaii and Mainland China (except Hong Kong/Macau/Taiwan), Hong Kong/Macau/Taiwan routes, Asia Pacific routes (except Japan routes and routes to Japan via Mainland China (except Hong Kong/Macau/Taiwan)), Europe routes, Africa routes, Australia/New Zealand routes

First Class/Business Class 

Each First Class or Business Class passenger with adult fare ticket or child fare ticket is allowed up to two pieces of checked baggage free of charge, with each weighing no more than 32kg (70 lbs) and measuring no more than 158cm (62 in.) in total linear dimensions.

Each Economy Class passenger with adult fare ticket or child fare ticket is allowed up to one pieces of checked baggage free of charge, with each weighing no more than 23kg (50 lbs) and measuring no more than 158 cm (62 in.) in total linear dimensions. 
Each passenger with infant ticket is allowed up to one piece of checked baggage free of charge, but the total linear dimensions of the baggage shall not exceed 115cm (45 in.). In addition, a foldable baby stroller or bassinet can be checked free of charge.

Any baggage that fails to meet the above regulations on weight or size will be subject to excess baggage charges.
