Once a lady asked an old man, “How much are you selling the eggs for?”

The old seller replied, “$0.50 an egg, Madam"

She said to him, “I am going to take 6 eggs for $2.50, or I'm going”…

The old seller replied, “buy them at the price you want, ma'am. Maybe it's a good start for me, because I couldn't sell a single egg today and I need this to live".

She bought the eggs at her price and left with the feeling that she won…

She entered in her elegant car and went to a posh restaurant with her friend.

She and her friend ordered what they wanted. They ate a little and left a lot of what they asked for. So they paid the check. It was $400. The lady gave $500 and asked the owner of the chic restaurant to keep the money as a TIP…

This story might seem pretty normal to the owner of the luxury restaurant, but very unfair to the egg vendor.

The question is :

“Why do we always need to show that we have POWER when we buy from the needy?”

and

“Why are we generous with those who don't even need our generosity ?”

Once I read somewhere :

My father used to buy goods from poor people at high prices, even if he didn't need them. Sometimes, he paid them more. I was stunned and asked him why he does this? So, my father replied :

“ It is a CHARITY WRAPPED IN DIGNITY, my son"…

So, “if I can give you one tip to improve your life, what would it be?”

-being GENEROUS to the deserving and stop bargaining with the needy!

1. If one can be rational, duty-conscious, resilient, kind and sympathetic towards fellow beings. Then you stand mentally strong and capable.

2. If one can be harmonious with family, work, friends, relatives and the outside world, then the whole world owes to such an able person.
