- Debra Wada, Assistant Secretary of the Army for Manpower and Reserve Affairs
- Miranda Ballentine, Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Installations, Environment, and Energy

1100 or Immediately following the Nomination Hearing:  Deputy Secretary of Defense Bob Work, Secretary of the Army John McHugh and Army Chief of Staff GEN Ray Odierno delivers remarks at the Army birthday cake cutting ceremony at the Pentagon.

1400 - Medal of Honor Ceremony:  President Barack Obama presents Cpl William "Kyle" Carpenter, U.S. Marine Corps (Ret), the Medal of Honor for conspicuous gallantry.  Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus, Commandant of the Marine Corps Gen James Amos, and Air Force Chief of Staff Gen Mark Welsh attend the ceremony. (Live)
