Following their groundbreaking win at the World Series last year, the Kansas City Royals celebrated their victory at the White House yesterday. The President not only heralded the Royals for their athletic victories, but also celebrated the Royals' victories off the field in the local Kansas City community.

President Obama Signs the Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act of 2016 into Law
On Friday, President Obama signed legislation to begin to address the opioid epidemic, which includes $920 million in treatment funding while encouraging Congress to take more comprehensive steps for what is a growing and pervasive epidemic within the United States.
