An Announcement on Iran

Earlier today, the United States, working with our allies and partners, negotiated a historic framework to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon.

Speaking from the Rose Garden, President Obama outlined how the deal will block all of Iran’s pathways to developing a nuclear weapon, and made clear that this will make the United States, our allies, and our world safer.
