Never Forget

崔庆平校友

I stood before Marx’s tomb,,
The revolutionary teacher’s changing-world Manifesto,
Took root in my bosom.

Never forget
I stood in the memorial hall of the first congress of CCPC,
To struggle for the cause of communism,
Is my unshakable believe.

Never forget
I stood before Xibaipo Memorial Site,
Chairman Mao’s famous aphorism“going to the capital to take trials”,
These are still words billions crave.

Never forget
I stood before the Party’s flag,
And held up my right hand taking a solemn oath
To be a qualified Party member.

永不忘记

永不忘记，
我站在马克思墓地前。
革命导师改变世界的宣言，
深植在我的心田。

永不忘记，
我站在中共第一次代表大会会址前。
为共产主义事业奋斗，
是我不可动摇的信念。

永不忘记，
我站在西柏坡革命纪念馆前。
毛主席的至理名言：“进京赶考”,
仍是亿万民众的呐喊。

永不忘记，
我站在党旗面前。
举起我的右手庄严宣誓，
做一个合格的共产党员。

（后记：前几年我试着写了一首英文诗，后我自己又把它翻成了中文。）
