【按】：武清，即原来的河北省武清县。后归属天津，现为天津武清区。武清，亦即我的故乡。有道是，每逢佳节倍思亲。一年一度的五一国际劳动节即将来临，故而撰写此赋，聊表思乡之情。
吾尝闻夫：武清武清，武功廓清；此乃武清，真谛是也。问君知否：一县之名，以此为据；自古中华，罕见乃尔。早期可溯，新石器时；先人于此，生产放牧。战国之时，雍奴有薮；广袤千里，燕国管辖。秦汉初年，始设二县；泉州雍奴，乃为县名。水经注载，泉州之名；源于城周，有水环之。历水之泉，浩浩汤汤；八十余里，透彻清亮。时光荏苒，北魏来矣；太平真君，就在七年。撤消泉州，并入雍奴；彼时开始，雍奴名扬。
古人有云：水北为阳，水南为阴。雍奴位于，大泽之北；雍阳之称，名至实归。唐代天宝，时值元年；雍奴一县，更名武清。武清古县，得天独厚；京杭运河，纵贯南北。古书有述，明明白白；潞水绕左，浑河衍西。北拱神京，层峦迭障；南窥潭海，万物朝宗。水路冲衢，畿辅咽喉；自古兵家，必争之地。武清之名，如雷贯耳；千百年来，沿用至今。喜在公元，两千年时；武清撤县，晋升津区。从此之后，发展飞速；一日千里，天翻地覆。
惟吾武清，古迹莘莘：清真北寺，位于杨村；始建明朝，万历年间。坐西朝东，砖木结构；主体大殿，面阔五间。巨柱林立，宽敞高大。望月塔楼，攒头绿顶；飞檐高翘，华丽堂皇。紫竹禅林，清代名刹；地址位于，河西务镇。当年破败，有僧求助。皇上恩准，遂拨帑银；寺庙重修，喜获新颜。新庙竣工，御笔赐题；慈航禅林，匾额一块。古迹多多，仅举二例；
管窥一斑，足可知全。
惟吾武清，胜景灿灿：永定古河有故道，国家湿地是公园；泉州古城报成寺，燕湖湿地生态园；天鹅湖畔度假村，君利农业示范园；大杨村有小世界，森林公园港北建；佛罗伦萨异国镇，琳琅满目看花眼。若夫逢春，到此一游；暖阳高照，东风拂面。或绿草依依，波光粼粼；或花团锦簇，百花争艳。旅游狩猎区，红叶观赏区；动区静区观赏区，野生动物饲养区；度假游乐跑马场，名特优果香满园。
惟吾武清，经济炎炎：产业同时并举，成绩昭彰不凡。招商引资不断，产业规模领先。既是高新技术产业基地，又是现代服务产业基地。国以民为本，民以食为天。欲谈经济，食品为先。粮食作物丰富多彩兮，小麦玉米水稻杂粮；经济作物品类繁多兮，油料棉花蔬菜主打；水果品种尤为丰富兮，苹果梨桃核桃葡萄。更有特产，杨村糕干；始创明朝，永乐年间。康乾二帝，亲口品尝；御笔亲书，妇孺恩物。更赐龙票，可购官米；许以杜氏，专卖专利。列为贡品，永不停业；杜氏糕干，美名传扬。
惟吾武清，前景煌煌：武清位置，极其特殊。巧在京津两城之间，故有京津走廊之美誉，更有京津明珠之妙称；恰为京津冀之交点，便成三地协同核心区，更为三地发展桥头堡。经济发展，科技进步。民俗津津，文化煌煌。名人赫赫，标榜史册。武清武清，既成生态宜居之城，亦为国家智慧之市。回顾以往，欣欣然；展望未来，悦悦乎!
噫嘻！百花吐艳，万鸟争鸣；武清悠悠，钟灵毓秀；武清炜炜，气冲牛斗！举步一迈，武清销魂；回眸一望，灿烂千秋。嗟夫，愧无生花之笔，来赞故乡之美；恨无如椽之笔，以颂武清之伟。岁属辛丑，时维桃月；武清之子，德利不才。飞散花旗，隔海东望；心潮澎湃，以歌以慨。遥祝故乡，步步登高；日新月异，昌盛永年！

Ode to Wuqing
Song Deli
[按]：武清，即原来的河北省武清县。后归属天津，现为天津武清区。武清，亦即我的故乡。有道是，每逢佳节倍思亲。一年一度的五一国际劳动节即将来临，故而撰写此赋，聊表思乡之情。
Wuqing, namely the original Wuqing County of Hebei Province, afterwards became an attribution to Tianjin, but now it is Tianjin Wuqing District. Wuqing is my hometown. As the saying goes, I miss my family twice during the festive season. The annual May Day is approaching, so I write this verse to express my feeling of homesickness.
吾尝闻夫：武清武清，武功廓清；此乃武清，真谛是也。问君知否：一县之名，以此为据；自古中华，罕见乃尔。早期可溯，新石器时；先人于此，生产放牧。
I learned: Wu Qing, Wu Qing, the martial merits was clear. This is the true meaning of Wu Qing. I’d like to ask you whether you know: the name of a county is based just on this. This case has been rare in China. The early stage can be traced back to the Neolithic. Our ancestors did production and grazing here.
战国之时，雍奴有薮；广袤千里，燕国管辖。秦汉初年，始设二县；泉州雍奴，乃为县名。水经注载，泉州之名；源于城周，有水环之。
During the Warring States Period, Yong Nu had moors, which was vast and thousands of miles wide, under the jurisdiction of Yan. In the early Qin and Han Dynasties, two counties were established. Quanzhou and Yongnu were the names of these two counties. According to the book of Notes on Book of Water, the name of Quanzhou originated from the city that was surrounded by water.
历水之泉，浩浩汤汤；八十余里，透彻清亮。时光荏苒，北魏来矣；太平真君，就在七年。撤消泉州，并入雍奴；彼时开始，雍奴名扬。
The water flew rapidly to more than eighty miles forward, clear and bright. Time flew hurriedly, and the Northern Wei Dynasty came. It was in the seventh year of Taiping Zhenjun, Quanzhou was abolished and incorporated into Yongnu. From then on, Yongnu became famous.
古人有云：水北为阳，水南为阴。雍奴位于，大泽之北；雍阳之称，名至实归。唐代天宝，时值元年；雍奴一县，更名武清。武清古县，得天独厚；京杭运河，纵贯南北。
The ancients said: The north of water was Yang and the south of water was Yin. Yongnu was located in the north of the large moor. Therefore, the name Yongyang was right. In the first year of Tianbao of Tang Dynasty, the name of the county Yongnu was renamed Wuqing. Wuqing, the ancient county enjoyed its advantages. The Beijing-Hangzhou Canal ran from north to south.
古书有述，明明白白；潞水绕左，浑河衍西。北拱神京，层峦迭障；南窥潭海，万物朝宗。水路冲衢，畿辅咽喉；自古兵家，必争之地。
The ancient book said clearly: Lushui River ran around the left and Hunhe River flew around the west. In a shape of arch it was connected with the northern capital and when it ran to the south, it saw countless mountains. When it flew to the south, it peeped the vast sea just like all things must show respect and visit their ancestors. The waterway is the main road of transportation on water and it was very important like the throat of the places near the capital. So, since ancient times, it has been a contested place.
武清之名，如雷贯耳；千百年来，沿用至今。喜在公元，两千年时；武清撤县，晋升津区。从此之后，发展飞速；一日千里，天翻地覆。
The name of Wuqing was very famous just like the ear-piercing thunder. For thousands of years, it has been still used till today. In 2000, Wuqing was promoted from a county to a district of Tianjin. Since then, it has developed rapidly. It is like that a man runs a thousand miles just in one day and great changes have taken place.
惟吾武清，古迹莘莘：清真北寺，位于杨村；始建明朝，万历年间。坐西朝东，砖木结构；主体大殿，面阔五间。巨柱林立，宽敞高大。望月塔楼，攒头绿顶；飞檐高翘，华丽堂皇。
My Wu Wuqing has many a historical sites: the North Mosque was located in Yangcun. It was built in Wanli years of the Ming Dynasty. Sitting west facing east, it was built in a brick and wood structure. The spacious main hall has five rooms. Giant columns stand there to make the hall, spacious and tall. The moon-looking tower has green roof. The upturned eaves are magnificent.
紫竹禅林，清代名寺；寺址位于，河西务镇。当年破败，有僧求助。皇上恩准，遂拨帑银；寺庙重修，喜获新颜。新庙竣工，御笔赐题；慈航禅林，匾额一块。古迹多多，仅举二例；管窥一斑，足可知全。
Zizhu Chanlin is a famous temple in the Qing Dynasty. It is located in Hexiwu Town. In those days, the temple became wrecked and a monk asked the royal court for help. And the emperor gave a permission to allocate money. The temple was rebuilt and a new look could be seen clearly.. After the old temple was well repaired, the emperor gave a plaque with the inscription reading Cihang Zen Forest. There are many historic sites, but I just name these two ones. I think that a glimpse is enough to tell the whole.
惟吾武清，胜景灿灿：永定古河有故道，国家湿地是公园；泉州古城报成寺，燕湖湿地生态园；天鹅湖畔度假村，君利农业示范园；大杨村有小世界，森林公园港北建；佛罗伦萨异国镇，琳琅满目看花眼。
My Wuqing, however, boasts splendid scenery: the ancient Yongding River has its old course, and the national wetland has turned into a park. The others include Quanzhou Ancient City Baocheng Temple, Yanhu Wetland Ecology Park, Swan Lake Resort, Junli Agricultural Demonstration Park, The Small World in Yangcun, the Forest Park in north port, Florence Exotic Town full of beautiful things to see.
若夫逢春，到此一游；暖阳高照，东风拂面。或绿草依依，波光粼粼；或花团锦簇，百花争艳。旅游狩猎区，红叶观赏区；动区静区观赏区，野生动物饲养区；度假游乐跑马场，名特优果香满园。
If you visit these parks in spring, the sun is warm and the east wind blows your face. You can see green grass and sparkling water, as well as flowers in bloom. Some other interesting places include Tourist Hunting Area, Red Leaf Viewing Area, Dynamic and Quiet Viewing Areas, Wild Animal Feeding Area, Holiday Amusement Racecourse, Famous and Excellent Fruit Garden that gives out fragrance to welcome you.
惟吾武清，经济炎炎：产业同时并举，成绩昭彰不凡。招商引资不断，产业规模领先。既是高新技术产业基地，又是现代服务产业基地。
My Wuqin has a booming economy: its industries are developing at the same time with remarkable achievements. Continuous investment is in a leading position. It is both a high-tech industrial base and a modern service industrial base.
国以民为本，民以食为天。欲谈经济，食品为先。粮食作物丰富多彩兮，小麦玉米水稻杂粮；经济作物品类繁多兮，油料棉花蔬菜主打；水果品种尤为丰富兮，苹果梨桃核桃葡萄。
A country is based on the people, and the people's food is the most important thing. When we talk about economy, food question comes first. Various kinds of food crops include wheat, corn and rice grains. There are also many kinds of cash crops such as oilseed, cotton and vegetables and the last one is the main thing to be considered. And the fruit variety is particularly rich such as apple, pear, peach, walnut, grape and so on.
更有特产，杨村糕干；始创明朝，永乐年间。康乾二帝，亲口品尝；御笔亲书，妇孺恩物。更赐龙票，可购官米；许以杜氏，专卖专利。列为贡品，永不停业；杜氏糕干，美名传扬。
More specialties should be mentioned. Yangcun dried pastry is the most important one. Founded in Yongle years of the Ming Dynasty, Emperor Kangxi and Emperor Qianlong once tasted it. They gave inscription reading the best food for women and children. Moreover, they also gave Du Family the dragon ticket with which they could buy official grain. Then Du family was given monopoly patent. Taking the dried pastry as tribute, they never ceased the business. Dried pastry of Du family is thereafter well known.
惟吾武清，前景煌煌：武清位置，极其特殊。巧在京津两城之间，故有京津走廊之美誉，更有京津明珠之妙称；恰为京津冀之交点，便成三地协同核心区，更为三地发展桥头堡。
My Wuqing has bright prospects: Wuqing's location is very special. It happens to be between Beijing and Tianjin, so it has the reputation of the Beijing-Tianjin Corridor and the wonderful name of the Pearl of Beijing and Tianjin. Just as the intersection of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei Province, it will become the core area of these three coordinated places and moreover, it is also considered as the bridgehead for development of these three places.
经济发展，科技进步。民俗津津，文化煌煌。名人赫赫，标榜史册。武清武清，既成生态宜居之城，亦为国家智慧之市。回顾以往，欣欣然；展望未来，悦悦乎!
With economic development, scientific and technological progress, fine folk custom, excellent culture and celebrities whose names were already put into the historic books, Wuqing has become an ecological and livable city, as well as a smart city of the country. Looking back, I am happy. Looking forward, I am joyful!
噫嘻！百花吐艳，万鸟争鸣；武清悠悠，钟灵毓秀；武清炜炜，气冲牛斗！举步一迈，武清销魂；回眸一望，灿烂千秋。嗟夫，愧无生花之笔，来赞故乡之美；恨无如椽之笔，以颂武清之伟。岁属辛丑，时维桃月；武清之子，德利不才。飞散花旗，隔海东望；心潮澎湃，以歌以慨。遥祝故乡，步步登高；日新月异，昌盛永年！
Oh! Flowers are in full bloom and birds are singing heartily. Wuqing is a place that condenses nature's aura and nurtures outstanding talents. Wu Qing is magnificent with a grand momentum.
Taking a step, I feel Wuqing make me delighted. Looking back, I can see a bright future which will last forever. Alas, I feel ashamed because I don’t have a wonderful pen to praise the beauty of my native land. I hate myself because I don’t have a magic pen to praise the greatness of Wuqing. It is now the peach month of the year of Xinchou. As the son of Wu Qing living abroad, I, Deli, is looking east across the sea. With a surge of emotion, I am willing to sing with emotion. I wish my hometown a great leap forward and upward step by step and prosperity forever with each passing day!
