What’s better than a spooktacular event for the whole family? One that’s free!
On Saturday, October 26th, NYC Parks will host Pumpkin Fest in Central Park, an annual event that celebrates the fall harvest season. Pumpkin Fest will feature a ghoulishly scary Haunted House, our popular Pumpkin Patch (can you say free pumpkins?!), and pumpkin decorating courtesy of Care.com. Other activities will include:
- Live Quidditch matches (bring your own broom!)
- Marionette Performances by CityParks PuppetMobile
- Obstacle Course by the New York Road Runners
- Pride of New York Farmers Market
- Arts & Craft activities from Scribble Town and The New Victory Theater
- Pumpkin Carving
- Fitness classes for kids and adults, courtesy of Shape Up NYC
- Iams PUP-kin Zone, featuring activities specifically designed for four-legged New Yorkers
- Live music from Kidrockers and songs for seeds
- Live performances from JestMaster and Big Apple Circus!
- And much more!
Catch a sneak peek of the Haunted House on Friday, October 25th from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm! Enjoy the frights and delights as the sun goes down!
