Health Department launching new Program Performance Improvement Initiative
The Health Department and the Department of Education announced major steps they have taken this summer to ensure every pre-K site meets the Health Department's high standards of health and safety. Since implementing more frequent site visits of Community-Based Early Childhood Centers and more aggressive timelines for corrective action plans, the number of sites with outstanding violations has dropped dramatically pre-K will be delivered at more than 1,100 sites this September. |
