National Falls Prevention Day is September 22
Each year, approximately 300 New York City seniors die - and more than 17,000 are hospitalized - because of falls. Most of these falls occur in the home, and fortunately, many falls can be prevented. National Falls Prevention Awareness Day is September 22nd, but you can help prevent falls any day of the year.
