DiNapoli: State Pension Fund Valued At All–Time High Of $160.4 Billion
New York State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli announced Monday that the New York State Common Retirement Fund was valued at an estimated $160.4 billion and earned an estimated 10.38 percent rate of return on its investments for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2013.
DiNapoli: Towns Can Better Monitor Asphalt Projects
Towns in New York tracked the accuracy of asphalt pricing for local roadway projects, but they need to do a better job of ensuring that paving materials match project specifications, according to an audit of ten towns across the state released Thursday by State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli.
