A UH-1Y Huey assigned to Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 469, carrying six Marines and two Nepalese soldiers, went missing while conducting humanitarian assistance after a magnitude-7.3 aftershock.
BRAIN PROTECTION:
The hand of scientist Dr. Peter Matic rests on a skull as he explains how the Naval Research Laboratory is studying how to develop helmets for U.S. Marines that will improve protection from brain injuries.
